Two cards actually, for Father's Day. Things have been a little busy and awkward for cardiness lately, so I'm glad I got these put together and listed on Etsy. I described them as being maybe good to give to a new father, as the saying Biodh Gra agus Cairdeas i Reim (Let Love and Friendship Reign) could be a nice blessing for a future father/son/daughter relationship, aw.

Finally: a card

Another Treasury
http://www.etsy.com/treasury_list_west.php?room_id=99173
...and thank God too, as it's the only thing to happen Etsy wise in an age. Weirdly, views have been really good for me recently - and I mean relative to what I'm used to! - but there is absolutely NO love, and certainly no sales...smidgin disheartened, because I'd been making such an effort with listing and increasing my stock etc...Oh well, maybe this is the nudge I need to cheer up again :)

Treasury!!!!
Yay!!!!
Although I'm often surprised at the pieces that are chosen (all what, 2 times now?!) - in this case it's one of the mother's day Flower cards, in an Irish treasury full of celtic knots and swirls...hmm!

Recycling
So I reached the second page...and immediately ran out of listing steam, I am so predictable! But while I'm back to one page ( the good way, sale, yay!) I am in two minds about the second page in that I think the card that was shunted out there got all of a single view for the entire time I had two pages, I just don't think people are bothered enough. Hm, which has just made me realise I need to have better products :P!
Anyway, because I HAVE run out of listing desire I decided to come at the cards from a different angle for the moment - recycling the 'bronntanas/presents' cards...so here are some of the Befores...

And my second!
Yip, I had barely time to relist my first expired listing, and be delighted at the fact that relisting gives me back my views and hearts (the only ones I'm getting, btw!!), when - I checked craftcult only moments later and saw that I still only had 20 items listed!! It's a conspiracy!
To cheer myself up, I have given myself a new avatar: the nice cherry red celtic heart...

Bright Spring Yellow Claddagh Ring Card
2 days later, another listing: bully for me! The nice warm yellow is as much to cheer me up as anything else - my most 'prolific' efforts always seem to coincide with a complete shut-down in views. Hm. That's not how it's meant to go! Still I am determined to get to that elusive page 2, so I shall persevere :)
Alas though: these pictures were taken this morning, in the morning light that I was so convinced would be the answer to my picture-problems. Well, not so much!

Photo Regression :(
Sad face! My photography is getting worse! I don't know what to say, I'm hoping that it is down to time constraints forcing me to take the pics in the evening...this card is actually a gorgeous warm cheeky red!
It is badly washed out in these pics though (and another of the green cards, also a 'Celtic Heart', looks grey! Criminal!), so I may have to try to make time to have a do-over.
ALTHOUGH! I must say they look much worse on Etsy than they do here or on Picasa as I'm trying to edit them, typical!!

New Idea, New Listing

Result: Sale :)

Just in time - another listing!
This every second day listing gig might not be that easy after all! Well, I was inspired to try to fix up the phonetic cards a bit, I think they have more potential than has been realised! And American Mother's Day is coming up in April...And I did get a lot done with them, and am relatively happy with the two versions I came up with (cute and colourful, and speech bubble...makes sense when you see them!) - however it took me two days, that's absurd! And they ain't THAT good! But though it has taken me this long, I am just glad that I did manage to get them done, papped and one listed today.

Avalanche of Embossed Cards!
I am taking my hopes to be a little more pro-active with the cards seriously, happily! These are all just the different permutations of the Connemara series, combining all three images with the different messages and both silver and gold embossing...phew!
It means listings may be a little monotonous for a while, but I'll feel better, in that princess and the pea way!, knowing that I have given them a good shot. I like these cards, they are certainly simple, but I worked hard on the images and they mean a lot to me as my first cards - the first things I'd admitted to making much less trying to sell! I'm planning to list every second day, which is still a world away from what I was doing, totally ad hoc, but still isn't setting myself up to fail :p
