Actual DOING

Papering, that is. It's outrageous that what, 2 weeks?, could have gone by between my actually making something, booo...
So I lit a little fire under myself to do another few valentine's cards. I don't actually think they would even get to America in time now, but I gave myself a giggle-blush with the prospect of having them to bring to a shop or even a market stall to sell, fun!
Anyway they are just a variation on previous: a golden claddagh ring on red card instead of white, and with the words "Love, Friendship, Loyalty" in Irish embossed inside instead of the phrase 'Let Love and Friendship Reign'.
That textured card is lovely in real life...you'd never really know it, wouldja? :( !

New Etsy Banner

I read a quick Etsy forum post, and ta-de - whipped this up in a quick second :)

It may not be much to most, but it's a lot to auld tech-inept me! The idea in essence is that you should have your name and something relating to what you sell in the banner, as the only opportunity Etsy gives you to 'brand'...apparently.

Thank You Irish Language Cards

Lovely Linda, my only ever Buyer, of anything ever but more particularly 5 cards on Etsy, recommended that I do some 'thank you' versions of the cards...so I did!
And I do need to be thankful to her in particular - my own mother, on hearing that Lovely Linda was going to buy from me, 'ordered' a batch of 15 from me - aw! Isn't that lovely? That was after a glass of wine though, and apparently it was Dutch-Maternal Pride (a la Dutch courage, you know), because by the next day she had spent her money on some other mother's child's work ;p !! Sad!
Anyway, here's to a Positive and Productive and Grateful for What I Got NEW YEAR, and the same to all.
